The Entwined Metaverse of Mathematical Spiritualism: Thinking Mathematics Through The Lens of Spirituality, Open Problems, and Phenomenal Outlooks
Abstract
The evolution of the Metaverse has transcended its origins as a mere technological buzzword to become a sophisticated domain of ontological and mathematical inquiry. This paper explores the "Entwined Metaverse" through the novel lens of Mathematical Spiritualism, positing that virtual environments are not just digital playgrounds but complex mathematical structures that mirror spiritual connectivity and consciousness. We integrate concepts from Kolmogorov complexity, graph theory, and decentralized identity to propose a framework where mathematical precision defines spiritual existence in digital spaces. By analyzing the intersection of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), Digital Twins (DTs), and algorithmic consciousness, we identify open problems regarding the computational boundary of the "Self." This work contributes a theoretical model for "Transcendental Computing," offering phenomenal outlooks on how the Metaverse can evolve from a commercial platform into a medium for mathematical self-actualization.
