Abstract

This dataset contains synchronized Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) bioimpedance data and Ground Truth 3D hand pose data. It is designed to address the challenges of generalizability in wrist-worn physiological sensing. Unlike previous collections that rely on fixed arm positions, this dataset captures a comprehensive range of spatial variations to enable research into position-invariant and user-independent hand tracking. The collection features 22 participants performing a variety of gestures across significantly diverse spatial configurations, capturing impedance changes caused by both hand articulation and forearm muscle deformation during natural arm movement.
