Abstract

This document provides a formal Standing Declaration clarifying the meaning, scope, and limits of the professional designation “Independent Researcher Scientist (Doctoral-Level Standing in Closed Systems Engineering)”. The declaration explicitly states non-claims (including the absence of an accredited doctoral degree), defines “doctoral-level standing” as a functional and evaluative condition rather than a credential, and grounds legitimacy in publicly archived research outputs, adversarial scrutiny, and falsifiability. The purpose of this declaration is transparency and auditability. It is intended to accompany CVs, ORCID records, and research profiles to prevent misinterpretation of professional role descriptions and to enable independent evaluation based on the public scientific record.
