La eliminación del límite como estrategia organizativa en la adopción de inteligencia artificial
Abstract
Abstract (ENG)This paper analyzes the organizational consequences of adopting artificial intelligence systems as decision-making and management tools in contexts where responsibility, authority, and operational limits become structurally blurred. Rather than focusing on AI as a purely technical instrument, the study examines how organizations deploy AI to dissolve traditional boundaries of decision, competence, and accountability. The paper argues that, in certain managerial configurations, AI functions as a mechanism for the externalization of limits: decisions are formally attributed to technical systems while responsibility remains hierarchically distributed without corresponding agency. This produces organizational environments in which individuals retain nominal responsibility but lack effective control, discretion, or epistemic access to the processes that generate decisions.By framing AI adoption as a strategic reconfiguration of power rather than a neutral efficiency improvement, the paper conceptualizes the removal of limits as an organizational strategy with legal, ethical, and psychological implications. It concludes that unmanaged AI-driven limit erosion leads to diffuse accountability, decision asymmetry, and structural risks that undermine both organizational governance and responsible management practices.
