Abstract

Summary. This paper develops a QMU-native method for quantifying polarized light in the Aether Physics Model (APM) by treating polarization as (i) a ledgered partition of conserved light-transport content and (ii) a mirror-odd chirality control that can couple to loxodromic geometry. The result is a falsifiable sign-ledger that enables polarization-programmable nonreciprocity and a practical pathway toward bias-free optical isolation. What is new. The work contributes three concrete deliverables: A Stokes-like polarization vector $\mathbf{S}=(S_0,S_1,S_2,S_3)$ with $S_0=\mathrm{ligt}$ (transport content in QMU) and $S_{1,2,3}$ defined as signed $\mathrm{ligt}$-partitions between analyzer channels. This makes polarization a ledger-native variable that can be swept while holding transport invariant. A dimensional polarization chirality carrier$$C_{\mathrm{pol}} = s_h\,(A_u\cdot \mathrm{curl}) = s_h\,{F_q}^2{\lambda_C}^2$$anchored to Ledger One and mirror-odd like the loxodromic carrier$$C_{\mathrm{lox}}=(\tau_{\mathrm{geo}}\lambda_C)(A_u\cdot \mathrm{curl})$$ A sign-ledger extension predicting polarization-programmable nonreciprocity:$$\mathrm{sgn}(\Delta g_f)=p_k\,s_{\mathrm{lox}}\,m_{\mathrm{rem}}\,s_h$$where $p_k$ is propagation-direction sign, $s_{\mathrm{lox}}$ is geometry handedness sign, $m_{\mathrm{rem}}$ is branch (history) sign, and $s_h$ is helicity sign. Engineering outcome. The paper frames a bias-free optical isolator (polarization diode) as a pseudoscalar logic element whose operating truth table is enforced by discrete sign flips rather than by continuous external bias fields. A near-term architecture is a loxodromic guide plus a reprogrammable chiral boundary (e.g., a tunable circular-dichroism metasurface), with verification by helicity-reversal sign tests and QMU-normalized downscaling fits. Experimental protocol (falsifiable). A Helicity-Reversal Sign Ledger (HRSL) protocol is included:(i) lock transport by enforcing $S_0(\mathrm{RCP})=S_0(\mathrm{LCP})=\mathrm{ligt}_{\mathrm{set}}$,(ii) sweep the discrete controls $\{p_k,s_{\mathrm{lox}},m_{\mathrm{rem}},s_h\}$,(iii) require sign inversion under any single flip and parity restoration under paired flips,(iv) test magnitude collapse to the QMU scaling template$$|\Delta g_f|=A(\tilde k,\theta)/\tilde r + B(\tilde k,\theta)/\tilde r^2$$ How to cite. Please cite this record for the present paper, and cite the QADI Community DOI Overview and Citation Guide for QADI conventions and community DOI usage.
