Abstract

Preprint description under current development phase: Cosmological Constant as Boundary Pressure from Entropically Bounded Worldlines Preprint III proposed that the cosmological constant may be interpreted as a macroscopic boundary effect associated with persistent saturation of entropically bounded worldlines. In this view, the cosmological constant arises from horizon-scale capacity constraints rather than from vacuum energy density. While the conceptual idea remains part of the SRM–PPA research program, the formulation presented in the preprint should be regarded as heuristic rather than derivational. Clarification of Interpretation In particular: The relation Λ=3H2c2\Lambda = \frac{3H^2}{c^2}Λ=c23H2 presented in the manuscript should be understood as a dimensional scaling argument, not as a rigorous derivation from the microscopic substrate. The interpretation of Λ as boundary pressure is currently a conceptual re-interpretation of cosmological acceleration within the SRM–PPA framework. The analysis assumes the validity of EBW saturation at cosmological horizons, which has not yet been numerically demonstrated. No attempt is made in the paper to match observational cosmology quantitatively. Current Interpretation Within the consolidated framework, Preprint III should be read primarily as a conceptual exploration of large-scale implications of EBW constraints. The idea that Λ might arise from horizon-scale capacity saturation remains an open hypothesis, pending the following developments: numerical confirmation of EBW universality demonstration of horizon-scale saturation in large networks extraction of dimensionless propagation invariants from simulations Until these steps are completed, the cosmological constant interpretation should be considered suggestive rather than established. Earlier version of description: This work presents a structural reinterpretation of the cosmological constant within the Space Register Metric–Planck Pixel Asymmetry (SRM–PPA) framework. Building on the Entropically Bounded Worldlines (EBW) principle, it is shown that a positive cosmological constant emerges as a global boundary effect associated with persistent horizon-scale capacity saturation. No assumptions are made regarding vacuum energy, quantum fields, or microscopic dynamics. Instead, Λ arises as a bookkeeping consequence of finite information capacity and causal transport in a discrete substrate. The result reframes cosmic acceleration as a macroscopic consistency condition rather than a local energy density.
