Abstract

mixing_models.wl contains code for calculating the effectivite permittvity of a two-component mixture using Maxwell Garnett, Bruggeman, and coherent potential electromagnetic mixing models. EM_coef.wl and birefringence.wl contain code for calculating reflectivity, attenuation, and birefringence from or through anisotropic media. Code is stored as a reference for "Anisotropic melt inclusions as a confounding signal for ice-penetrating radar observations" in Cheng et al., 2026, GRL.
