Network Throughput via Dimensional Folding and Bit-Level Compression: A Rigorous Framework for Any Network Type
Abstract
We give a rigorous mathematical framework for drastically improving effective network throughput over any network type (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 5G, satellite, optical) by applying dimensional folding and bit-level compression to payloads before transmission. We recall the singular value decomposition and prove that the preservation ratio equals the smallest singular value. We define effective throughput, the folding pipeline, and bit-level compression; we prove that effective throughput equals physical link throughput times the compression ratio, and that transfer time is reduced by the same factor. We prove that the pipeline is protocol-, link-, and stack-agnostic. We give worked examples (64 KB payload, 1 GB dataset, 4K video) with explicit steps and numbers, a subsection on system overhead (compute, memory, latency), and an appendix with composition of compression ratios. All notions are given in full mathematical form.
