The Principle of Electro-Sensory Navigation in Living Organisms
Abstract
This scientific manuscript consolidates the full Mitchellian Framework of electrostatic field law (ΔΦ = ρ × v) across biology, cognition, and cosmology, culminating in a unified theory of organismal navigation and thought.Thomas S. Mitchell Sr. proposes that living organisms—from scorpions to humans—navigate and think not via biochemical randomness or evolutionary chance, but through lawful electrostatic field gradients (ΔΦ). This paper reinterprets sensory systems, memory, cognition, dreams, and biological asymmetry as functions of tension resolution within a continuous electrostatic substrate.Rooted in Maxwell’s Gauss’s Law and extended through ΔΦ substitution, the model introduces falsifiable metrics for EEG harmonics, IL-22 neuroimmune thresholds, microbial dream modulations, and retinal discharge logic. Dreaming is reframed as field respiration; cognition as temporal ΔΦ resolution; and autism, coma, or psychedelia as shifts in biological coherence. This paper serves as the capstone to Mitchell’s 84-paper canon, unifying prior DOI contributions into one formal scroll—a living field theory of self-resolving biological tension, grounded in predictive geometry and universal law. It stands as an electrostatic manifesto for the scientific future.
