Abstract

Living Field Theory, Volume II: Admissibility, Identity, and Structural Inevitability develops the structural consequences of the Living Field framework introduced in Living Field Theory, Volume I. This volume derives time, memory, identity, determinacy, and computation from a single primitive: irreversible accumulation of constraints acting on admissible histories. Rather than assuming external time, state collapse, optimization, probability, or stored memory, this work shows that: temporal ordering arises from monotonic restriction of admissible futures, memory corresponds to persistent constraint structure rather than stored state, identity is defined by equivalence under future admissibility, determinacy occurs without collapse through outcome-class fixation, computation emerges as structural inevitability rather than selection or optimization. All results in this volume are structural, not model-specific. No particular field equations, physical constants, or computational architectures are required. The framework applies uniformly across physical systems, abstract dynamical systems, and computational realizations. This volume also establishes the theoretical foundation for Structural Inevitability Computing (SIC), a class of computational systems in which outcomes emerge through admissibility restriction rather than state selection. SIC is treated as an empirical instantiation of the framework, not as a foundational assumption. The mathematical commitments of this volume are isolated and formalized in the companion work The Mathematical Spine of Living Field Theory, which serves as a shared interpretive reference across Living Field Theory volumes and SIC. This work is intended as a closed, citable theoretical monograph, suitable for foundational research in physics, computation, and the study of time, identity, and determinacy.
