Chromatic Gravitational Lensing in the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field Framework_ First-Principles Penalty Mechanism
Abstract
This work presents a comprehensive framework for chromatic gravitational lensing within the Vacuum Energy Quanta Field (VEQF) paradigm. Unlike general relativity's prediction of strictly achromatic lensing, we demonstrate that vacuum energy structure—shaped by baryonic and effective dark matter distributions—acts as a dispersive graded-index medium producing frequency-dependent image separations. We derive the spectral mismatch penalty mechanism from first principles using a spectral overlap integral, establishing a quadratic penalty form P(k₀, r) = ℘(k₀ − k_vac(r))² with coupling constant ℘ [J·m]. The framework employs a toroidal Energy Density Gradient (EDG) geometry aligned with host morphology, with node spacing approximated at l_q ≈ 10⁻²⁰ m for practical chromatic lensing calculations. Validation across 20 lens systems yields mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 0.28%, with chromatic exponent γ = −0.0025 empirically calibrated to optical-band quasar observations—not radio VLBI data. The MG J0414+0534 VLBI chromatic shift (4.3% across 2.3→8.4 GHz) is dominated by plasma dispersion (∝ ν⁻²); the pure VEQF contribution (γ = −0.0025) predicts only −0.26% shift in this band. We explain flux reversal phenomena in lensed quasars via post-deflection cone divergence geometry. The VEQF framework treats cosmic anisotropy as an emergent property of matter-induced vacuum structuring, providing a unified explanation for lensing geometry, chromaticity, and morphological signatures without spacetime curvature.
