Abstract

Initial release of the grey literature search script used for a scoping review on the measurement of costs, benefits, and harms associated with biomedical data reuse. The repository contains a Python script that performs organisation-specific grey literature searches using the Google Custom Search API. Selected websites are queried, a fixed number of results per organisation is retrieved, and results are exported to a CSV file for screening and deduplication. The study protocol is available at: https://doi.org/10.12688/openreseurope.16063.2 Requirements: Python 3 google-api-python-client Google Custom Search API credentials (API key and CSE ID provided via environment variables) API credentials are not included in this repository.
