Abstract

Arecophila K. D. Hyde, Nova Hedwigia 63: 82 (1996) Notes. Arecophila species are typically saprobes on decaying or dead substrates, including wood, culms and leaves, and they are widely distributed across tropical, subtropical and temperate regions (Hyde et al. 2020; Li et al. 2022). Currently, 26 epithets are recorded in Index Fungorum (2025). The present study adds two novel taxa to the genus, increasing the total from 26 to 28.
