Abstract

A fast structural gate that makes classical deduction safer under real-world updates. Triad Logic (TL) is a closure-first framework for discourse admissibility rather than truth. It formalizes three prerequisite conditions—Identity (stable reference), Distinction (non-collapse), and Binding (non-fragmentation)—and treats inference as closure-preserving or closure-restoring transformation. The paper then defines a hybrid architecture, TL ▷ CL, where Classical Logic (CL) is executed only inside TL-admissible regions. Key contributions include: a constraint-graph semantics for TL, a two-tier modular admissibility regime, a bridge calculus with worked transfer and collapse-risk examples (with diagrams), a computational complexity analysis (including a summary table and a concurrent Union-Find implementation note for Identity), an application to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) as a hallucination/fragmentation filter (including multi-hop “bridge search” to restore connectivity), and a concrete automated triad-repair algorithm with role-conflict unit tests via disjoint type predicates . This work is positioned as infrastructure for the Forced Series: Classical Logic manages state (consequence), while Triad Logic manages the integrity of transition (updates, merges, transfers), preventing semantic drift in dynamic reasoning.
