EiG–K Kinematic Response and Scattering Dynamics
Abstract
EiG has historically emphasized static structure (couplings, masses, phases) but lacked a kinematic operator capable of generating scattering shapes comparable to collider observables. This document develops and tests a minimal EiG scattering response operator framed as **vacuum stress–strain** (failure scaling) and then extends it to a **two-mode propagator** motivated by EiG's constitutional decomposition of $\alpha^{-1}$ into **Volume** and **Surface** components. A first brutal test against Bhabha scattering falsifies a single-mode failure-scaled propagator for photon exchange: the forward curvature is far too soft. A two-mode model (Hard/Volume + Soft/Surface) restores the required sharp forward peaking while retaining a finite EiG ceiling at the exact singular limit. A second brutal test applies the Soft/Surface mode to hadronic elastic $pp \to pp$ scattering. The model predicts the correct **order-of-magnitude forward slope scale** and produces a striking single-point match for the 7 TeV diffractive dip using a Hägg-limit threshold; however, the dip position is experimentally energy-dependent, falsifying any **constant-threshold** dip law. The dip is therefore treated as a coherence/interference crossover requiring a state-dependent threshold, not as a universal fixed ceiling.
