MID/QC Applied Substrate Series 6 - Field Aligned Materials: Designing Substrates That Support Coherence Native Behavior
Abstract
Field‑aligned materials are traditionally engineered for magnetic, optical, or mechanical performance. In the MID/QC framework, alignment is reinterpreted as a substrate‑level coherence stabilizer: a structural condition that reduces tension, minimizes collapse pathways, and enables coherence‑native behavior across the material. This paper develops the architecture for designing substrates whose internal alignment fields guide, preserve, and amplify coherence propagation. The result is a unified model explaining anisotropic conduction, directional stability, field‑guided routing, and coherence‑native material behavior. This work anchors the material‑engineering branch of the Applied Substrate Series.
