Financial Literacy level among i Taukei Youths - A Secondary Analysis
Abstract
This is a comprehensive thesis or research report investigating the state of financial literacy among Fiji's iTaukei youth population. Using quantitative secondary data from the World Bank Global Findex and UNCDF surveys (2017-2024), it analyzes knowledge scores, practical financial behaviors, and critical gaps across urban/rural, gender, and age subgroups. The document concludes with targeted recommendations for policymakers, including the Reserve Bank of Fiji, to enhance financial inclusion and resilience.
