Memorias del VI SINCA
Abstract
SINCA The Simposium Iberoamericano de Catálisis y Calidad Ambiental (SINCA) is a consolidated event with a 15-year tradition. Originally held every three years, it transitioned to a biennial format following the pandemic. The symposium serves as a free academic forum where researchers and students (undergraduate and graduate) from various Ibero-American institutions meet to listen to prestigious international specialists and present their own scientific progress. Main Goal The primary goal of the symposium is to provide a space for the presentation and discussion of research related to two main pillars: Green Chemistry and Sustainability: The synthesis, characterization, and evaluation of advanced materials for sustainable processes.Environmental Protection: The analysis of water, air, and soil quality, alongside the development of technologies for the remediation of contaminated sites. Peer Review and Evaluation Process The symposium ensures the quality of its published proceedings through a formal evaluation structure: Scientific Committee: A dedicated Scientific Committee (Comité Científico), presided over by Dr. Violeta Mugica Álvarez, oversees the academic integrity of the event.Evaluation Committee: There is a specific "Comité Evaluador" composed of 16 experts from international and national institutions .Review Outcome: Works submitted for publication undergo a review process, which consist in two evaluators checking the integrity of the manuscript with blind copies.
