The Geometric Genesis - Deriving Quantum Mechanics, Inflation, and the Fine Structure Constant from Lattice Crystallization
Abstract
Title: Paper XIII: The Geometric Genesis - Deriving Quantum Mechanics, Inflation, and the Fine Structure Constant from Lattice Crystallization Abstract: This paper presents a foundational derivation within the UIT-81 Framework, proposing that the primordial universe underwent a Geometric Phase Transition rather than a singular metric expansion. We model the "Big Bang" as the nucleation and crystallization of a chaotic vacuum substrate into an ordered Golden Ratio Lattice. By applying a Landau-Ginzburg expansion to the vacuum free energy density, we derive Cosmic Inflation as the superluminal phase velocity of a crystallization front, providing a physical mechanism for the Horizon and Flatness problems without requiring a stretching of the spacetime metric. Building on this discrete topology, we reinterpret Quantum Mechanics as the hydrodynamics of lattice vibrations (phonons), where the wavefunction (Psi) is derived from the Information Flux of node-update cycles. Consequently, the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is revealed as the Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Limit of the discrete mesh. Furthermore, we provide a geometric derivation for the Fine Structure Constant (alpha approx 1/137). We demonstrate that its value is governed by the Golden Angle of the lattice (137.5) corrected for thermodynamic phonon damping (delta-vib), identifying the fundamental constants of nature as inevitable structural properties of the crystallized vacuum. Context within the Series: This is the final paper in the UIT-81 Pentalogy, unifying the micro-scale geometry derived in Paper I with the cosmological phenomena described in Papers X, XI, and XII.
