Global blind spots in open-archive river water-quality monitoring v0.1_cov
Abstract
Description (paste-ready) This deposit provides a full reproducibility bundle (v0.1_cov) for a basin-scale assessment of global river water-quality monitoring visibility gaps and gap-aware prioritization during 2010–2020, using HydroBASINS Level 6 (n = 16,397) as the common spatial backbone. The archive contains (i) the complete analysis code (Python/Bash/SLURM), (ii) processed intermediate tables and sensitivity-analysis outputs, (iii) figure-ready outputs (PNG/SVG/PDF), and (iv) metadata for reproducibility (git commit information and SHA256 manifests). Contents code/: scripts and environment specification (environment.yml) tables/, figures/: generated main/extended data figures and summary tables meta/: provenance and version metadata MANIFEST_SHA256.tsv: file-level checksums for integrity verification Reproducing the resultsDownload and extract the tarball, then follow RUN_ORDER.md. Heavy computations are intended for an HPC environment; the workflow is organized to allow stepwise re-runs from saved checkpoints. Integrity checkA checksum file is provided to verify the tarball after download. Notes on third-party dataSome raw inputs are distributed under their original licenses and are not redistributed here; the included scripts document the expected sources and processing steps.
