FCD-CORE-2A: Local Interaction as a Necessary Condition for Operable Systems
Abstract
This work presents a formal, structural analysis of operability in systems subject to finite informational access and constrained feedback. Building on the axiomatic framework introduced in “Frame Constraints and the Limits of Totalization”, it provides a non-physical, non-empirical demonstration that any operable control architecture necessarily relies on locally mediated interactions, where “local” is defined strictly in informational terms. The argument is derived solely from information-theoretic and control constraints. No assumptions are made about fundamental physics, spatial distance, signal propagation speed, or ontological structure. No empirical laws are proposed. The paper introduces formal definitions of operable interaction and operably non-local interaction, and proves by contradiction that operable non-local interactions are incompatible with finite informational access, bounded feedback resources, and non-isomorphic scale separation. The result establishes local interaction as a necessary condition for operability under the stated axioms. The claim is explicitly falsifiable within the same operational framework. This work does not attempt to resolve questions related to quantum non-locality, relativistic causality, or chaotic dynamics, and does not interpret the result beyond its structural scope.
