Abstract

This paper introduces Temporal Gradient-Free Dynamics (TGFD), a foundational framework that reformulates dynamical law without assuming time derivatives as primitive objects. Instead of modeling evolution through differential equations, TGFD treats histories as primary entities and defines dynamics via global self-consistency over admissible history classes. Time is interpreted as an ordering label rather than a fundamental physical parameter, while temporal derivatives emerge only as singular limits under strong localization of memory kernels. Within this framework, classical mechanics, delay differential equations, non-Markovian systems, and path-integral formalisms appear as special or limiting cases. Stability, conservation, causality, and equilibrium are reinterpreted geometrically in history space rather than temporally in state space. TGFD provides a unifying perspective across physics, cosmology, and complex systems, offering a structurally minimal yet expressive alternative to derivative-centered dynamics. The framework clarifies when differential descriptions succeed, why they fail in long-memory regimes, and how observable deviations can arise in non-Markovian and history-dominated systems. This work is intended as a foundational reference for history-based dynamics, with future applications spanning quantum theory, cosmology, biological systems, and large-scale artificial intelligence.
