Abstract

The book comprises a Preface, an Introduction, and five chapters. Initially, the purposeof the study is outlined — the application of previously identified empirical patterns inphosphorus mineralogy (chapters 1 and 3) and geochemistry (chapters 2–5) to indicategeological processes. The source material comprised summaries published by theauthors in several books (1988, 1994, 2008, 2011, 2020, 2022, etc.), as well as some newdata from the period 2009–2020, previously omitted in the aforementioned summaries.Due to the novelty of the issue—the use of established empirical patternsin the mineralogy and geochemistry of phosphorus to indicate the processesthat generated them—this monograph holds significant applied importance.
