Ruqyah: Religious Diagnosis and Psychological Analysis
Abstract
This qualitative analytical study explores the psychological and physiological mechanisms of "Ruqyah" as a culturally rooted therapeutic model. It argues that Ruqyah is a structured process leading to "Emotional Catharsis" through stages of "Hyperarousal" and "Dissociation," conditioned by the cognitive belief in the sacred text. The research bridges the gap between field observations and modern psychological theories.
