VISUAL ATLAS OF MATTER: BRIDGE CHAPTER THE INVISIBLE GEOMETRY OF VALENCE From Nuclear Bricks to Chemical Bonds: A New Unified Theory
Abstract
ABSTRACT In this pivotal "Bridge Chapter," Elastic Tensorial Mechanics (ETM) establishes a direct causal link between nuclear topology and chemical behavior, bypassing the abstract formalism of quantum orbitals. The theory posits that chemical valence is not an intrinsic property of the electron, but a geometric consequence of the nucleus's shape. Through the metaphor of the "wrapping paper," the atom is analyzed as a system where the electronic shell attempts to cover a solid nuclear core. Reactivity arises solely when the nucleus presents topological imperfections—protrusions, gaps, or asymmetries—that the electronic field cannot shield. By deconstructing the first ten elements into their constituent modules (Alpha, Tritium, Deuterium), this chapter reveals the specific geometries driving chemical bonds: from the unstable "mushroom shape" of Lithium to the versatile "open ring" of Carbon, up to the aggressive "laser effect" of Fluorine and the spherical perfection of Neon. ETM thus redefines chemistry as the inevitable search for geometric closure by imperfect nuclear structures.
