Abstract

This repository contains an illustrative background figure referenced in an eLetter responding to Brett and Rohani (Science, 2025). The figure mirrors the figure layout used in Brett and Rohani (Science, 2025; Fig. 3) to provide visual context, using previously described, routinely reported aggregated German ARI sentinel surveillance data (see Duwe et al.; Oh et al.). The eLetter does not depend on this figure.
