Abstract

This archive contains the fully reproducible numerical notebook used to generate the Milky Way rotation–curve results and figures presented in: Randall G. Simpson (2026) An Analysis of the Milky Way Rotation Curve Using the Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffness Response The notebook implements the Quantum Vacuum Composite Stiffness Response (QVCSR) framework and applies it to the Milky Way, a non-isolated galaxy with a well-measured Keplerian decline. It reproduces all figures and numerical results shown in the paper, including: the baryons-only rotation curve computed from the fixed B2 baryonic mass model of de Salas et al. (2019), the canonical unwindowed QVCSR p-norm response, the best-fit environment-aware QVCSR model incorporating restricted regime access, and the residuals between the model and the observed Milky Way rotation curve from Jiao et al. (2023). All baryonic parameters are fixed and taken directly from the cited literature. The vacuum acceleration scale and intrinsic response parameters are held fixed at their canonical values. Environmental effects are represented through a constant external acceleration floor motivated by the Local Group potential. No particle dark matter halo is invoked. The notebook is designed to run top-to-bottom without manual intervention and uses only standard scientific Python libraries. It is provided to ensure full transparency and reproducibility of the Milky Way application of the QVCSR framework and to serve as a reference baseline for future studies of environment-dependent vacuum response in galactic dynamics.
