Abstract
• Stable trust from 2012 to 2023: Italians continue to have faith in law enforcement and firefighters. • North and South show minimal differences: trust remains high and widespread throughout the country. • Crises, disasters, and pandemics do not undermine the positive perception of institutional efficiency and security.
