Knowledge transfer and sustainability strategy (Deliverable R09)
Abstract
This deliverable consolidates the PeatTransform approach for transferring research knowledge to key stakeholder groups and ensuring sustained accessibility of core outputs beyond the project lifecycle. The strategy is anchored in the project’s formal commitment to public accountability and open science dissemination through established repositories (e.g., Zenodo and the Latvian Open Science platform) in alignment with FAIR principles, and through an openly accessible information platform that is regularly updated throughout the project’s lifecycle. Knowledge transfer is operationalised via targeted dissemination and engagement activities described in the application, including at least one comprehensive annual informative seminar on project progress and results, a set of thematic seminars, partner led demonstration/training events, and integration of research outcomes into educational modules and university curricula to support long-term capacity building. Sustainability provisions are framed around the establishment and maintenance of an Information Centre hosted on the beneficiary’s official website, designed to support continuous transparency and dissemination, and the long-term availability of key datasets and tools through project platforms and databases maintained by Silava and partner institutions. In the application, the research platform is planned to be launched by 2026 and maintained until 2034, providing a defined horizon for sustained access to integrated datasets, tools, and publications.
