Abstract

The autonomy, openness, and efficacy of the judiciary are pivotal to upholding the rule of law and fostering democratic governance. Nonetheless, numerous judicial frameworks encounter obstacles such as politicization, operational inefficiencies, and insufficient accountability, which undermine public confidence. This research study explores the establishment of a Judicial Commission, the revival of the Supreme Judicial Council, and the incorporation of constitutional provisions for judicial appointments. Through comparative legal analysis, doctrinal investigation, and case studies, this research identifies strategies to bolster judicial autonomy, accountability, and public trust. The study proposes an integrated judicial reform framework rooted in constitutional principles and informed by global best practices.
