Information Manifold Model – Volume IV: Dynamics, Emergence, and Regime Structure
Abstract
Volume IV extends the Information Manifold Model (IMM) into dynamic behavior and emergent structure. Building on the operator and transition framework developed in Volume III, this volume examines how local transition rules give rise to global regimes, phase behavior, and structural persistence across information manifolds. System dynamics are analyzed in terms of regime stability, boundary interaction, and entropy flow rather than equilibrium optimization. Emergent behavior is treated as a structural consequence of manifold geometry and constraint interaction, not as an epiphenomenon of stochastic noise. Key contributions of this volume include: Regime formation and dissolution on information manifolds Phase-like behavior driven by entropy redistribution Boundary conditions and attractor-like structures Structural instability and regime transitions Persistence and collapse of emergent dynamics Market systems are used illustratively to demonstrate regime shifts such as consolidation, expansion, and breakdown, while maintaining a domain-agnostic core applicable to physical, computational, and social systems. Volume IV positions IMM as a framework for understanding complex system behavior across scales, emphasizing emergence as a geometric and informational necessity rather than a statistical surprise.
