Abstract

Technical Report v2.0 (February 2026) This report documents the Entropy Sink framework, establishing mathematical mappings between visual topology and thermodynamic stability in high-beta systems. We demonstrate that imposing strict geometric constraints (specifically the orthogonal "Mondrian Mode") lowers the microstate volume, acting as an effective entropy sink for non-Markovian turbulence. Key Findings: Thermodynamic Cost of Geometry: Validation of the hypothesis that "Structure is the entropy sink." Geometric rigor effectively "cools" the informational state of the system. C0 Contrast Calculus: A quantitative method for mapping human-perceivable visual patterns to measurable thermodynamic quantities. Theoretical Validation: Builds upon recent discourse in quantum foundations regarding error-correction as an entropy-reversing process (Violaris, 2026) and non-standard plasma dynamics (Quartermaine, 2026). System Modes Defined: Van Gogh Mode: High entropy, turbulent flow, unstable. Mondrian Mode: Low entropy, lattice-constrained, thermodynamically optimal. This document concludes the software control plane validation (Phase 2). Hardware realization is the subject of forthcoming documentation.
