The Physics of Redundant Unison Resonance: Acoustic Saturation and Harmonic Stability in Modular Stringed Instruments
Abstract
This research provides a comprehensive theoretical and empirical validation for a novel acoustic system. It integrates the physics of redundant string resonance with modular foldable resonance bodies. Key features include the suppression of destructive interference via random phasing and the use of Pythagorean Tuning to reduce cognitive load. This study serves as the scientific foundation for Patents PAT.NO.I891530 and PAT.NO.I903394 Note: This working paper has been integrated into a unified core framework:Lai, W. Y. (2026).
