Abstract

This dataset was created within the research project “The European Spa as a Transnational Public Space and Social Metaphor” (HERA-funded, launched 2019). It maps European spa towns and resorts from the 18th to the 20th centuries, documenting their spatial development, key institutions, and transnational significance.
