Abstract

This data catalogue documents the spatial datasets produced and compiled for the Smart Siting Guide: Portugal, which aims to support evidence‑based identification of low‑conflict locations for ground‑mounted solar photovoltaic and onshore wind energy development. The catalogue provides detailed descriptions of each geospatial layer used in the analysis, including energy development potential models, social sensitivity indicators, biodiversity constraint layers, and final integrated outputs. All datasets are harmonized at national scale for mainland Portugal and formatted for direct use in standard GIS environments.
