THE IMPACT OF STRESS ON THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL BURNOUT IN TEACHERS
Abstract
The teaching profession is recognized as one of the most stressful occupations, often leading to professional burnout. This study examines the relationship between stress levels and the development of burnout among teachers. By analyzing both empirical and theoretical literature, as well as conducting surveys and interviews with educators, the research identifies key stressors contributing to burnout and suggests strategies to mitigate their effects. Findings indicate that excessive workload, emotional strain, and lack of organizational support are primary predictors of burnout, which negatively impacts teachers’ psychological well-being, teaching effectiveness, and overall job satisfaction.
