Predictive Framework for Stellar Collapse and Compact Object Formation via Spacetime Elasticity Dynamics
Abstract
This study introduces a predictive, mechanically-grounded framework for understanding the outcomes of extreme stellar events, including supernovae, neutron stars, and kilonovae. By treating spacetime as an elastic medium with a finite response time, we define a Locking Factor that dynamically governs whether a collapsing star becomes a stable neutron star or a black hole. Numerical validation across a heterogeneous set of compact objects demonstrates that observed energy deviations and delayed collapses can be explained without invoking singularities. The framework provides falsifiable predictions, a coherent explanation for the mass transition between neutron stars and black holes, and a mechanistic interpretation of kinetic energy surpluses in supernova remnants.
