Abstract
At the top of the main door of the Alcaicería leading to the Sagrario, there was a Marian image depicting the Immaculate Conception and the Assumption. Facing it, first during the main Marian festivities and then on Saturdays, the Salve Regina antiphon was sung in polyphony, funded by neighbours and devotees.
