GPU-Accelerated Evolution of a Boosted $S^3$-Field Defect: Stability and Spectral Diagnostics
Abstract
This record contains the manuscript, code, and dataset for a numerical study of a relativistically boosted topological defect (gamma=5) in a classical S3 field theory (Skyrme model). Summary:- Objective: Stabilize a boosted soliton on a lattice to extract a field-based momentum-fraction spectrum (Pn(x)), inspired by quasi-PDF methods.- Method: Uses a geodesic time integrator on a 513^3 grid with "vacuum blending" boundaries to mitigate numerical Cherenkov instability.- Results: The simulation (run on a single NVIDIA B200 GPU) maintained high stability over 6,000 steps with ~1% energy drift and negligible spectral leakage (< 6.6e-6). Files Included:- Manuscript: Technical report on the model and numerical pipeline.- Dataset: Summary logs (.json) and spectral plots proving stability.- Code: Python/PyTorch scripts for initialization and time evolution.
