Abstract

This paper shows that if admissible redescription is to remain well-defined within a bound scope, then standing must be conserved across all admissible redescriptions. Allowing standing to fail and later be restored introduces intervals in which admissibility is undefined, permitting silent redescription and loss of reference grounding. Such interruptions cannot be reconciled with fail-closed admissibility and therefore undermine the coherence of standing itself. The result is conditional and eliminative. It does not treat standing as a state, resource, or dynamically evolving quantity, nor does it introduce mechanisms for maintaining or repairing standing. Instead, it excludes any representation in which standing is allowed to lapse, localize, or be episodic while admissible redescription is retained. Standing is thereby constrained to function as a conserved, scope-global condition under admissibility.
