Abstract

This essay presents a coherence-based resolution of the Fermi Paradox grounded in an emergent-causality framework. If structured information transfer requires causal alignment rather than merely energy exchange, then advanced civilizations optimizing for computational efficiency will naturally evolve toward high-coherence, low-coupling regimes that render them electromagnetically undetectable. The result is a universe that may be rich with intelligence while appearing silent. This article is a popular-science companion to the technical preprint: “Emergent Causality and Unaligned Geometry: A Coherence-Based Framework.”
