VOLUME XXIII :The Periodic Grammar Algebraic Derivation of the Periodic Table from the 42 Roots of H₀(Ã₂)
Abstract
Volume XX derived the hydrogen atom from H₀(Ã₂) alone, establishing the shell structure N(n) = 2n² as a theorem of the emergent su(2) algebra constrained by seed antisymmetry. Volume XXI proved that A₂ and A₃ are uniquely spectrally saturated. Volume XXII showed that C(K) = 0 implies discrete exchange statistics — only bosons and fermions exist at K = 3. Volume XXIII takes the next step: we derive the periodic table of elements from these algebraic foundations. The key results are: (1) the period lengths 2, 8, 18, 32 emerge as 2n² from su(2) representation theory; (2) the Madelung filling rule becomes a theorem of lexicographic word ordering in the monoid; (3) noble gases correspond to algebraically closed configurations; (4) valence — the number of bonds an atom forms — arises as the deficit between occupied states and shell capacity; and (5) carbon’s unique tetravalence connects to the commutation deficit C(4) = 2. The periodic table is not an empirical catalogue. It is a grammatical structure — the conjugation table of atomic sentences written in the language of H₀(Ã₂).
