Structural Limits of Long-Horizon Security
Abstract
This work introduces a diagnostic structural framework for analyzing the limits of long-horizon security reasoning in persistent systems. Security systems are treated as evolving structures characterized by deviation, internal stress, structural memory, and viability. The framework does not propose cryptographic primitives, protocols, or design methodologies. It provides a language for identifying when continued security reasoning becomes structurally inapplicable, reframing collapse as a regime termination rather than a failure or attack event. This publication is intended as open research and diagnostic theory.
