Information-Geometric Latency Regularization of the Newtonian Three-Body Problem: A PRD-Safe Operational Extension of MetaTime v36.0
Abstract
We propose an operational, PRD-safe extension of the Newtonian three-body problem in whichstate updates are assigned an information-geometric rewrite cost. Motivated by the MetaTimev36.0 companion mapping of rewrite cost to quantum information geometry, we introduce a classicalproxy built from (i) a configuration-manifold metric and (ii) an encounter-amplifying processing loadΠ(r, v) that increases with proximity and relative velocity. The resulting equations of motion containstandard Newtonian gravity, a latency-induced dissipative term structured by the information metric(geometric processing drag), and a Kaluza–Klein-inspired radion buffer that dynamically softensclose-encounter singularities by absorbing excess chaotic energy into an auxiliary degree of freedom. All dissipated mechanical energy is explicitly accounted as processing heat and can be bounded byLandauer-type inequalities under irreversible coarse-graining interpretations. We provide modifiedEuler–Lagrange equations with Rayleigh dissipation, derive a closed energy budget, and proposepreregisterable simulation tests (OT-1–OT-4): scaling of instability time with an action-densityproxy, existence of a finite stability plateau under controlled perturbations, strict energy bookkeepingclosure, and holonomy/topology specificity via a classical Hannay-angle analog. Positive outcomeswould support the operational claim that orbital persistence correlates with information-geometricstiffness, independently of cosmological extrapolations.
