Dataset Overview Ø Version: EDGAR_2025_GHG, Monthly sector-specific gridmaps (2000-2024), IEA-EDGAR CO2 - NETCDF (emissions). Ø Year: 2024 Ø Region: China (Longitude: 73°E–135°E, Latitude: 18°N–54°N) Ø Grid resolution: 0.1° x 0.1° Ø Temporal resolution: Monthly, 12 months from January to December Ø File format: NetCDF (.nc) Ø Variable: CO2 emissions per different sectors Ø Variable unit: Mg/month (Megagrams of CO2 per month per grid cell). Ø Emission Sectors: • Power Industry: Power and heat generation plants. • Industrial Combustion: Combustion for industrial manufacturing. • Buildings: Small-scale non-industrial stationary combustion. • Transport: Mobile combustion (road & rail & ship & aviation). • Agriculture: Soils, residues burning, fermentation, manure, etc. • Fuel Exploitation: Production, transformation, and refining of fuels. • Processes: Industrial processes (cement, steel, chemicals, etc.). • Waste: Solid waste disposal and wastewater treatment.
