Example of an orientation poster in transdisciplinary research
Abstract
This is an example of an orientation poster in transdiscilplinary research. The image shows a five-meter-long, hand-drawn orientation poster. It was used in a complex, transdisciplinary project to provide participants with an overview of the project as a whole. The orientation poster and the sketchnotes supported one-way communication and represented the lowest level of participation — information (Fischer et al. 2024). Their primary purpose was to offer orientation and convey a clear overview of the entire project. This enabled stakeholders to place individual activities and sub-goals, presented through words and images, — within the broader project context.
