Discrete Spacetime Network: Correlated Effective Accounts of the Muon g − 2 Anomaly, Neutrino Mass Origin, and Confinement Signals
Abstract
We propose a unified phenomenological framework based on the hypothesis that spacetime possessesan underlying discrete network structure characterized by a scale ΛN = O(102 GeV)(benchmarkvalues ΛN ≈ 110–150 GeV). Within this effective description we address three open puzzles:(i) the muon anomalous magnetic moment discrepancy, (ii) the origin of neutrino masses, and(iii) confinement signals in non-Abelian gauge dynamics. For the muon g − 2, network-inducedmomentum-space modifications generate a positive correction scaling as (mμ/ΛN)2, matching theobserved anomaly for ΛN ≈ 130 GeV. For neutrino masses, we present an instanton-inspired effectiveoperator estimate in which network microstructure modifies the effective weight of topologicalsectors; the observed sub-eV scale corresponds to an effective suppression exponent Seff ∼ 30 forΛN = O(102 GeV). For confinement, we review the standard strong-coupling area-law behavior ofWilson loops on the lattice and provide a proof-of-principle numerical illustration in pure SU(2)lattice gauge theory showing Wilson-loop suppression with increasing loop area and positive Creutzratioestimators at small loop sizes. The convergence of these effective arguments around a scalenear the electroweak scale motivates further, more quantitative investigations.
