Geometry-Induced Stability and Passive Error Suppression in Open Quantum Dynamics
Abstract
We propose an effective framework in which structured phase driving, expressed through a spiral-modulated control-phase coordinate ψ(t), induces intrinsic stability constraints in open quantum dynamics. Without measurement-based feedback or active quantum error correction, the model yields passive error suppression via geometric averaging, vortex-like phase winding sectors, and non-Markovian memory kernels with constrained growth. We derive an effective noise-averaging map and state operational conditions under which the deviation δρ(t) from an ideally modulated trajectory obeys a contraction bound of the form ∥δρ(t)∥ ≤ Ce−γgeomt∥δρ(0)∥+ C′ γgeom ηres. The framework provides a testable route to geometry-induced robustness in driven platforms (photonic, superconducting, and solid-state spin systems) under realistic noise models.
