Iranian Classical Music Dataset - Chahargah

This dataset contains 869 audio recordingsof Iranian classical music in the Dastgāh-e Chāhārgāh, solo performed on seven traditional Iranian instruments: Tār, Setār, Santūr, Ney, Kamānche, Qānūn, and ʿŪd. The dataset was created as part of an ongoing research project investigating "computational creativity and cultural identity in non-Western musical frameworks" with a particular focus on Iranian classical music. Access: the audio is available to researchers on request for non-commercial academic use. Copyright in the original recordings remains with their respective rights holders.
