Abstract

This report extends the investigation into the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, focusing specifically on the mechanisms of Confirmation Bias and Evoked Behavior as tools for reframing relational failure. Analyzing the dyad of "Alex and Jamie," we document how the Anticipation of Harm functions as a cognitive filter that deletes positive data and magnifies negative reactions. The report details the Preemptive Attack strategy, where the withdrawal of security and the imposition of "tests" are used to manufacture a hostile environment. This allows the subject to convert their own active sabotage into external proof of the partner's "toxicity," thereby securing a narrative of victimhood and bypassing the cognitive load of self-accountability.
